Well, that’s kind of Rahdo but Splash Damage as well as Bethesda should make an official announcement in their news thread or otherwise. This forum always seems to get everything last.

I must say that I agree with BiigDaddyDellta on this. Seriously how difficult is it to be straight up with us and come out with a statement saying that there have been some bugs that have arose during the cert process and we are taking our time to sort these bugs out or something along those lines so that we at least know what is going on. But instead we don’t here anything whatsoever on this site nor do you on the Bethesda site except “The DLC is still into MS and Sony for certification.”

Honestly I love this game, but it is almost August and I am (along with a whole lot of others) getting more and more impatient waiting for the DLC (I just want to use my UAV and Napalm Grenades :slight_smile: ) and more importantly the huge patch that is supposed to come alongside the that will hopefully fix the horrendous online matchmaking on consoles.

I know why they aren’t saying anything. Because they only have bad news. Clearly the DLC has failed certification. Probably more than once. What can they say? “Sorry, we don’t have the talent.”? They aren’t going to say that.

Its just sad that they clearly haven’t played console FPS games given the state of Launch and now DLC certification. How can this game be MP focused and not have a traditional MP Console Lobby???

Right, they said once it is approved by all parties then they will make an “official announcement” as to the exact release date. So in other words, it’s not going to pop up on the store without warning. I’ve already written July off, despite all the new achievements showing up on all systems now… it doesn’t mean a thing. This experience is one of many that has taught me not to get my hopes up.

Sorry, man, but I dont think they openly said anything about fixing the bad matchmaking. I dont think its coming. Im only saying so you dont get your hopes up and end up with another disappointment.

I was thinking what R_Shackelford noted about the Network optimizations. Surely that means that they are going to do something to make it better. However, if they don’t then I won’t be too disappointed (just a little disappointed :)) so long as the PS3 chatroom continues to fill up .

Yeah, there could be some improvement in lag and people timing out, but neither of those are nearly as big a problem as the matchmaking.
