The effect is there for all explosives, the issue is that everything else kills you.
Fletcher has high enough hp to survive and is light enough to fly.

This happened to me as Nader when I jumped over a Fletcher’s sticky bomb as he detonated it, I managed to fly about a story up in the air before cratering.

It’s not a bug so I imagine it will be allowed, as long as you’re only using it within areas that the devs intended you to go in (=don’t go out of the map)

Wait, can you actually do it if you use your detonator ? Doing it with the shotgun will probably not make it viable in combat (too hard to execute).

don’t think hitting it with your shotty is the problem when you’re basically putting yourself in onehit range

I tried doing it a couple of times with the detonator and it’s quite hard to execute because of the timing between the triggering and the actual explosion. But if you manage it well you should be able to boost yourself horizontally. But this is way more effective on vertical climb. Enemy boosting seemed to work, so in a FF on environment (I don’t know if sticky bombs glue to friendlies with FFon), there’s the possibility to boost allies.

Oh god.

I don’t deem it illegal in Dirty Cups as long as you stay “in bounds”. If you go out of bounds, automatic DQ. I don’t see much people using it though personally. -Shrugs.-

Pretty sure that with a bit of practice (and that nice BL32 Standard Operative loadout) you’ll be able to use it in combat like a pro.
