We are not entitled to retro active cases, and here's why

Don’t forget that we already received a standard for every level. So that’d generate a double leveling bonus for the N level we already got prior to the arrival of arsenal cases. Compared to a xp boost, a standard case does not seem too bad :p…

What amazes me is that people still think they can milk the game and don’t get milked as a return one day. Think about it, we already have massive amount of loadouts and useless junk in our inventories. The day trading comes in, all this stuff will flood the market. I don’t think giving more stacking opportunities is a good idea for that reason. I’m already pretty sure that prices will be low compared to time invested or the luck required to obtain a cobalt. So that’d be presposterous to pull prices further down because of giving too much allowance to players who already have way too much in their hands.

Completely off topic but since everyone keeps talking about levels I do actually wonder who has the highest level in this game. Back when I started playing again in October or something we had a level 97 back then here in Australia called Synerg1e, but I haven’t seen him playing at all lately.

I wonder who the highest level player in the game is worldwide?

There are players in the 130-140 range now. Kaur is one, there’s probably others.

At the end of the day, in this regard they’ve done something positive by introducing a more rewarding level up reward.

There’s really nothing to complain about.

I’d love some sort of reward for obviously sticking with the game for a while, but it’s not required at all.

Don’t fool yourself that those new cases will have riches untold every at every level. The reality of Arsenal Cases will probably look something like:
80% Equipment case = exactly the same as now
15% some other slightly better goodie like 3 x Equipment case
5% the really good stuff.

So basically you already got 80% of the rewards.

@“Protector of the Outback” I was going to say basically the exact same thing

Honestly doesn’t matter if we only get equip cases most of the time.

Because the time you do get an elite case, or booster or whatever, you’ll be like

ThomaZe is probably the guy you are looking for. Last time I saw him, last saturday or sunday, he was 157. And we should satisfied that alpha state is not counted in this because he’d be over 9000 by now :p.

I also think we should not be mad that we are not gonna get anything retroactively. We played the game, we obtained content which is unique and won’t be available anymore to new players.

I am actually looking forward to new content such as 2nd gen cards, arsenal cases etc. This is what we need in order to maintain longevity. This is why we give money to SD so that they can bring more content.

Tl;dr I’m happy with where this is heading.

If level up requirement is a constant amount of xp after X level, then I can see the point of your argument. Everyone will have the same start and get the same amount of rewards for the same work, and if you played the game more, it was done without the expectation of future rewards for your time beyond what you normally get.

If the xp requirement increases with level, then lower leveled and less dedicated players will be getting more rewards than the higher leveled ones who dedicated more time to the game, which is very clearly unfair.

Either way, it would be nice to see some sort of compensation for being higher leveled. A Combined Expert Case for every 10 levels obtained after level 10 would be reasonable. Pure retroactive case rewards (one special case per level) would definitely be excessive, but that’s hardly the only way to satisfy people’s wants.

Hey you! yeah you there. Kid i’ve got something great for you, just need you to help me test it out… Yeah bro thanks for all the time you’ve spent, now please, grab your ankles and kiss your own ass on the way out will you, New guy here will be getting all the rewards!

THANK YOU COME AGAIN.

On a more serious note, This is a blow to the kidney for people who’ve been left out. Basicly, Its like a reverse loyalty programme if they implement it as OP has posted it. If you’ve spent more time and effort, you basicly got less in the end for it all?

Who thought that one up? Its like insurance getting more expensive because you’ve been driving around damage free for ages
