Example?
You already have a bunch of them. Drakir’s map Fligerhorst suggested by Loffy has a waterfall in it and the .map is also available at drakir’s site in the archive section. Saberpeak also has the .map available as suggested by blushing_bride. Did you look at them carefully and tried to understand what’s going on or did you just open them, flew around for a couple of minutes and then gave up.

Mapping is not easy, but this is some pretty basic stuff, and it seems to me like you’re not even bothering to understand what’s going on…you just want some prefabs to plug into your map and don’t really care about learning how stuff works. Both maps previously mentioned have examples of what you’re trying to do and luckily for you they come with the source files. I really don’t know what more you could ask for.

If you’re not able to understand how to do something as simple as a waterfall when you have a sample map right there to look at, then perhaps it’s best you give up mapping for awhile because there’s a lot of tougher stuff you’re going to have to do to make a complete map, and it seems to me you’re really not up to it.
I don’t know how old you are, but if you’re not in your teens yet then I strongly recommend you give up mapping till you’re a little older as it will probably be extremely hard for you at this stage.

for ur information i did search, i have the saberpeak file but what i could see of the waterfall was No Draw Water textures, and i didnt know the official name of the map loffy was talking about, he just said an airport map. So plz, if ur not gonna try to give me advice without getting ticked, plz dont give any. Also, im not just hunting for prefabs to plug into my level, first off, i got in my mind how i want the waterfall and the area it comes out of to look, the chances of one of yall making an identical waterfall is highly unlikely. Now that i know that maps name by Drakir, ill go get it. But you dont need to get smart about this ok, im just a newbie learning things slow.

P.S. I think the reason i got the quadruple post was cause of some error that came up when i posted last.

ok, i found the patched waterfall in drakir’s level, but i also noticed that the entire world spawn as the same keys and values as it does

OK, ive never seen some of these put on a worldspawn before and i’ve never even heard of over half of these, so if someone wouldnt mind, tell me which ones i got to have on the waterfall itself and if u know, tell me what the rest of these do, and plz Wanderer, no smart comments, im just asking questioins to learn.

Also, about the waterfall, i dont have the texture for the one drakir made, so does anyone water texture work or do u got to find a moving one?

none of those values are needed for the waterfall, they apply to the map as a whole, hence worldspawn The waterfall is probably controlled by a shader file

That might explain why you got nowhere with the other examples. .SHADER files are in the /scripts folder
