Water Pump problem

I have big problem with a water pump. I made everything as in LDR, but when i start my map, it gives me the following error: script_mover must have a model. When i remove the origin brushes (which are script_movers, same as the water), the map loads, but when i repair the water pump, the water instead of depleting, it flys away (!!)… The strange thing is that in the example map - sample02e, everything works without any problems… i need help :blah:

At a guess, I’d say you forgot to group the origin brush with the water one… think I’ve gotten the same error that way before.

when i press space (to clone the water (script_mover), ), and then place it on top of the water, i get the error:"" Script_mover must have a model"" ?!!??! whats the damn problem

i think the original waterpump that Sock sent me is slightly different to the one in the LDR. Try the one in this thread:

i used the one in the thread, the file is very long and split into two different posts. Just copy and paste both parts into one single text document and save as a .map. When you first load the pump into Radiant it is part of a mini map. All i did was to delete the sky, ground and spawns so only the waterpump and water was left then save it as a prefab to load into my map.

vic, a scriptmover must have a model, meaning you have some brushes like origion and trigger that are no use, it must have something that is either solid or can be seen, prefrebly both :smiley:

if its water check the entities, make sure that the copied water actually has water and now just an origion brush and target/scriptnames

i tried to copy it exactly, but maybe i missed something… :bored:

again… i does not recognize the origin brushes… :frowning: i checked solid, but still the same error occurs…
