Everytime I change something in my map, sections of my water don’t seem to compile.
ie. Compile Map…go into game…water visible but you fall (no water)…but other water areas are still there…

then, when I go into GTKRadient and delete…redo section…another part of water is not working properly after I compile…VERY FRUSTRATING. :banghead:

Hmmm, are you totally covering your brush with the water texture/shader? There are problems using fog with deformVertexes and contentparms if you have more than one type of shader on the brush. What are you using to attach your sections of water together?
Smells like adjacent water brushes… If so, the two water brushes touching each other should have water_nodraw instead of caulk or water shader.
Hopefully it’s clear enough.

um…on another note…How do you kill sound through walls/floors?
VIS is what will stop sound. If you don’t -vis your map then sounds will carry to their limit area without being stopped. That’s unless your sound is tagged as being global, which means it’s heard everywhere on the map.
