WASP Inc. Recruitment Post

-About Us-

WASP Inc was founded in the original All Points Bulletin game where we were selected as the “Best Closed Beta Enforcer Clan” by the original developers. This gave us a lot of early prestige as a new clan which we still maintain to this day in APB: Reloaded. While WASP Inc originates on the APB European servers, we later expanded our operations to the North American servers as demand for our gameplay grew.

It was at this point we began to move away from the idea of being a clan solely in APB. Our first steps in becoming a proper gaming community started with our entry into the PlanetSide 2 Tech Test. With the experience of being a well-established and successful APB clan, and the support of our members who were veterans of the original PlanetSide, we had a strong basis for expansion into PlanetSide 2. Since then, WASP Inc in PlanetSide 2 has become one of the most successful and renowned Outfits in the game. With two successful expansions into contrasting games, we have now been looking for other games that have the potential to be our next core game division. Aside from PlanetSide 2 and APB we are also active in many other games (public forums).

WASP Inc has a strong emphasis on teamwork. We don’t care about your background or nationality so long as you are capable of communicating clearly in English and are willing and able to play in a team. While individual skill does make a difference for us, the ability to play in a team effectively is far more important. Being a committed and widespread gaming community of mature and serious gamers, we always try to hit a sweet spot between strict organised play for the win, and the value of playing socially for fun.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Working TeamSpeak 3 and a microphone.
  • Ability to speak and understand English sufficiently for our needs.
  • Ability to work in a team, to take orders and execute them.

-Our Dirty Bomb Social Group-

Dirty Bomb has recently caught the attention of a few of our members. As of now, most of our members are fairly new to the game, and are trying to work out strategies/callouts for each map against the different Mercs. If you’re interested in doing some team game-play and trying to get better at the game, while still being able to lay off and play casually with a bunch of like-minded people - WASP Inc. is the place for you!

-Signing Up-

To sign up, make an account at www.wasp-inc.com and press the ‘Join’ button on our home page, and scroll down the list of divisions until you find the ‘Community Games’. Fill the form, send it in and we’ll get back to you shortly.

If you get accepted, we will invite you to play with us for a few matches to see how you fit in. Assuming we all have a great time and you get along with our members, you’ll be put on a 14 day probation period, where our existing members will review you and ultimately give you a +1 or a -1. (The amount of +1’s and -1’s will determine whether you get accepted or not.)

The first 7 day period of you probation is called ‘External Probation’. During this period, you will play with WASP Inc. members, but won’t wear our tags.

The last 7 days is called 'Internal Probation. During this period, you will wearing our tags and can call yourself a WASP. (If asked, you must however mention that you are a probationer.)

If you have any questions, feel free to contact any of our staff members:

Our members are currently setting up callouts for each map in order to improve teamwork.
Here is what we’ve got so far;

Ay man just thought you should know that you’ve listed Market as Overground and vice versa in your callouts

Mistake fixed. Thanks for letting me know!

So I am not 18. I don’t have a mic. I don’t use or wish to use your callouts (too use to my own.) I DONT WANT TO REALLY JOIN. But I am a strategist. And due to recent feedback, a good one. I don’t want to join your clan, but I would love to talk strategy; share to ideas and collaborate. See if I could learn anything new. I’m all about teamwork and am not one for incorporating solo play too much into my strategies. Honestly, I would just like to have a nice little talk about strategies with people that understand my choice of play style, and you guys are perfect. I hope you consider

Definitely. On our own forums athttps://wasp-inc.com/forums/teams/dirty-bomb.55/forums you’ll find a subforum called ‘Tactics & Callouts’. I’d advice you start a thread in there about what ever topic you wish!

Currently, we’re working out the callouts for the rest of the maps, and teaching these to new members. We’re planning on working out some setups (ie. Which set of characters is useful for what maps/situations) and strategies for different lockdown situations like repairing the EV on the first stage of Brigde.

But feel free to start a topic there. You will have to create a account on our forums to do so.

Nice to see WASP expanding to other games. I know WASP for a long time. Even tho my APB career started on Obeya EU1, already at that time i heard about them. I watched some of the players youtube videos regularly (Street, Moras, KillerRabbit). It was KillerRabbit that made me try the Obeya CR762 and i fell in love with it!

WASP has a lot of strong players. Even tho some of the WASP members i faced later when the servers merged were not that good, i must say the teamwork is excellent. They attack strong and as a team. That’s why i always admired WASP.

Thank you for your kind words. It is true that WASP has gone from being a force of elitist to a community with lots of different aspects. However, we definitely do still have competetive players in APB - and hope to get some in Dirty Bomb aswell!

We’ve already look at that, but decided to make our own due to various reasons. Thanks for putting effort into finding it for me though.
