Turn off pure server. That option basically ensures the game hasn’t been modified, so obviously if the game HAS been modified you don’t want it.

eh no.

A properly constructed mod should work just fine with pure on, assuming it is installed on both the client and server.

Pure just ensures that the client and server are running the same files.

Bit annoying to have to turn pure server off, espically as i normally connect thru ASE and not ET itself. I’ll try that tonight.

Also that file mp_bin… is that a standard ET file?? i dont really like the fact you have to overwrite the original…?

On the server, put the mod files in a new directory, at the same level as etmain (just like etpro does). Example wegeinmod. Then start the server with
+set fs_game wegeinmod
don’t make sv_pure 0. leave sv_pure 1. Put the weigenmod client pk3s in that same directory.

Then, when clients connect, they will be required to download the wegeinmod .pk3 files (you can even use an uber fast www redirect), and the mod won’t overwrite anything in their etmain. No ones install will get messed up. No one will have to run unpure. The banna will dance :banana: people will be happy :clap: the :beer: will flow… even the :moo: will moo! :drink:

Got it working, deleted the files offered above and just d/loaded it directly from the server and it worked a treat!

CRAZY mod and great laugh to play!
