Voting Glitch

When I vote on something in game (such as a match restart) it sets my merc choice at the same time, even if I’m currently alive as another merc. For instance, say I’m playing my medic in the F3 slot, and a vote comes up to kick an afk. I hit F1 to pass the vote, then die, then I spawn as my assault class in the F1 slot without choosing anything or pressing space to respawn, it just happens. Does anyone else have this issue?

After the last patch default votebuttons were changed to pageup/pagedown so if you press F1-F3 you will likely switch merc instead of voting yes/no. Check the Options to see.

On my screen it did change with the last patch. Before that patch (when the change was introduced) it was still the same and worked aswell with F1/F2. Can’t tell for others.

Have you checked what’s set in the key bindings? If it is F1/F2 then change it to something else (like PageUp/PageDown)

Thats one reson to remove callvotes. I’m still used to press f1/f2 to vote and I see less votes as well. Everyone is used to f1/f2 and press that when a vote pops up.

Mine has shown up as Page Up / Down since the patch, I’m also very grateful for this change as it was sorely needed.

For anyone having issues with it not showing up this way, just manually re-bind your vote keys yourself.

Fixed it. Thanks guys, just had to check my keybinds and turns out that for some reason it was glitching out since the patch to display F1 and F2 instead of Page Up/Down like it was bound to.
