The problem with hackers (as we know) is that they tend to play in competitive mode; because they can’t be kicked and the other poor victims can’t leave.
Not a profound idea, but I think that if 6 players vote yes for the game to end this might go some way towards helping the issue. It would require just 1 kind player on the hacker’s team to see sense and end the torture. Even better, vote against the hacker and, if successful, ban them for a while so there’s less chance they appear in the next game.
definitely not 6 players.
Keep it simple:
Team-specific vote, everyone has to agree - map is surrendered to the opponent.
This is absolutely needed in this game! Due to team-fight oriented nature of DB, usually the first 2 min can tell if the game will be close/winnable or impossible to win/impossible to lose. If the concern is that people will surrender too quickly out of games, well thats clearly a symptom of bad matchmaking, and not something wrong with surrender vote.
On the other hand, having to go through 15min fullhold on 1st obj (as either team) is absolutely boring and makes me not want to play matchmaking (apart from the hacker issues).
