I’m sorry that this was burried and forgotten as it never got ended. But to not let all the work go wasted, here is a poll to vote. The order is same as they were sent in. 2 weeks time to vote. Original thread.

1 and 2 are quite nice, I like the attempt at making 3D waves in 1, not seen that before in ET, obviously it only works in a still image but still.

Voted 2 though, could have done with a bit more fog though.

Sage contacted me to add my contest-entry again because the old one was deleted from the web-space so I used the last week to build that scene.
Now we can finally finish what was started “years” ago.

I really like entry 1# because it is simple but has a nice appereance and atmosphere.

All nice scenes, I appreciate the work that has been put in scene 3 (and in the other ones as well of course)

Great job to all of you, but my vote went to n° 1:
awesome in all its simplicity

The scene’s name that Sternschubser gave, describes perfectly the emotion and intensity of the scene:

How fair is this? That guy, that horrible slacker of a KeMoN, has rallied the whole IRC in line to toake it in terms to vote for him. he should be banned!!1!1

But to be honest, it does look best. The first one has waves but is completely empty. The third one is nothing special, and can be seen in many maps around the place. So my vote is on the second, because it ultimately looks best over all.

Edit: I would like to correct this statement. KeMoN pointed me and others to the long overdue vote, and I voted for it out of honesty, and not because KeMoN asked me so. Some people might have interpreted this wrong, and I would like to make it clear that my statement was purely scarcastic.

If you quote in your post or if you apply to something could you please make sure to do it correctly? I never said you should vote for me! I just posted the link to this thread and said: “Don’t forget to vote!” These were my words! I said it in order to get more attention to this contest because when it was about creating scenes there was no great attention noticeable.
There was another topic we discussed in IRC. The one about being honest, but that doesn’t belong here. I just want you to know that this is something that belongs to that topic.

Nevertheless thank you for your vote.
