Seriously why the fuck is this feature even in the game? Like what does it do that a shuffle can’t? Its literally a button that should say “Click me to ruin the match”. And the fact that people have the idiocy to actually vote yes baffles me. People vote kick, vote shuffle and vote restart mostly when there is nothing wrong. Either way lets get back to the point. Vote restart map has NEVER fixed a match or made it more fun. I’d rather get stomped 3v6 then restart the map. Its a complete waste of my time and quite franticly yours aswell.

If anyone actually likes this feature can you please explain why you think its so good. For me it just pisses me off (as you can tell I’m writing this rant straight after a restart map vote) and wastes my time.

Please remove this imprudent vote. Thanks.

  1. It’s only available during the first few minutes of a match
  2. It’s used to reset the progress made by uneven teams (because it’s quite common to join a 2v2 match and see the attackers doing the final objective two minutes into the match)

tl;dr it kills fast matches

Restart is good when starting teams are uneven, by which I mean they look like 2 vs 5 or something like that. It sometimes happens - people leave server AFTER lobby shuffle, so game begins with uneven teams, but retards don’t want to change teams to even up. More people join, teams become even, so you can restart to play a balanced game.

I’ve never seen this vote being abused - it can be called in a very short time after match begins and it can be called only once as far as I know.

@Beryl Oh, well today I was in a match it was an even 6v6 game and someone did restart map and it got passed. I then asked him why he did it and he said “Oh I accidentally miss-clicked”. So pretty much he just ruined the match.

just gonna parrot what other 2 have said. I often join a match when it says “just started” and theyre on the last onjective, because on the other team, its 4 ppl playing, and on this team, its only 2 people playing, because either the others have left, or they are still locking in.
by restarting, you can erase all that, and start again when its 5v5 or whatever, and it leads to a fairer match, usually,

The point that “vote restart map” can only be called in the first few minutes of a map make sure that it is not abused throughout a game. I also find it effective when a stacked 2v5 is on the last objective in like the first 3 minutes and the vote is called.
