Do vote kicks get recorded? Like if some one starts a vote to kick against you(successful kick or failed vote kick) x times u get banned or something

I only ask because I see a lot of people trying to kick some one with no explanation why there being voted out.

They need to add a reason selection to the vote kick option.I have to vote no 95% of the time I can’t tell if some one is just disgruntled, because the poor guy is being kicked for using vasilli, or because some one isnt playing to another team members competetive standards.

Very doubtful. I never played a game where player-votekicks were recorded for the purpose of automatically ban people. Even if SD/Nexon record them, I doubt multiple or even a large amount kicks just get you outright banned without any further investigation and finding out the reason why you was actually kicked.
On the other hand though, I believe an overly large abuse of the votekick from a player against another player can lead to a ban. But in this case also not an automatical one, but if the victim report harrassment.

vote kicks are basically useless. most people play with another friend so if they afk,hacking they aint being kicked. should go on majority vote.

Yeah, this is funny how often people decide to call this vote, but don’t bother giving you a reason. We’re playing, then votekick X appears. I ask why. No response. I think some are doing this because they’re bored or something. We definitely need a reason selection.

No, there won’t be any ban effect caused by repeated vote-kicks on a person. The only thing that will happen is they will be banned from that specific server for 30 minutes, if it passes.

However, people who are vote-kicked for AFK farming (for example), and get reported for it, could be picked up on by the GM’s.

In execution this often enough passes since everyone can see the reason: The last guy standing in the spawn AFK.

No words needed in the brotherhood of gamers :wink:

In execution it’s easy to spot an AFKer, but it’s also not so hard in other modes. The thing is - these votes appear when noone is AFK. And people asked for reasons stay silent.

Majority votes for a vote kick is not a good idea. The system is already abused enough and if it went by majority, that would just lead to more people being kicked for no reason than already are.

I’m thinking players should be punished for abusing the vote kick. I don’t see any reason players be kicked because some players just can’t standing critical words like “noob”.

The other day I was on my NXA Noxie account and I was kicked! Haha they wanted to see if they could… But yeah there is no banning if you get kicked out of game often.
Vote kicking is always hit or miss but it is very useful when it’s not abused…

should be a 3rd step to the vote kick selection - reasons (ex: afk, cheating/hacking, being a dick, etc)

also, I’ve seen a vote go 9/7 yes, with a couple nos, and the guy didnt end up getting kicked. ???
