Vote Kicking

Today, when I was playing as Aura, some players voted me in two casual objective matches to be kicked. I am not sure if it was the same person but I didn’t stay on one server. The player who tried to kick me in the first match typed in chat and said he or she is kicking me because I am not using my weapons (I was supporting my team and had my defibrillator out to charge it instead of having a shotgun in hand). I did not find out the player who voted me in the second match. However, these were the only times others tried to kick me and I find vote kick often nowadays in game. I haven’t encountered any hacker yet, but I noticed this in games with mostly newer players. I am concerned about this vote kick system, as I experienced unreasonable vote kicks in another nexon game, Combat Arms. In that game, an innocent player getting kicked is able to see who is calling the vote. I understand that vote kick may be necessary because there are players who use hacks, etc., but vote kick system needs revision that shows who is calling the vote and the reason for it. I really urge the developers to implement these revisions so that vote kick abuse does not occur in this game. I would like to see if anyone disagrees or shares similar opinion as me on this.

I have played several online games which involve vote kicking, some showed who called the vote and some didn’t. I think it is better if you don’t see who is calling the vote, because you usually end up with two stubborn guys votekicking each other.
If someone tries to kick an innocent player, the vote will fail around 90% of the time anyways, since the majority of players vote NO when they can’t find a reason to kick someone.

The vote kick system is getting worked on as a whole since most players can’t even tell when a vote is happening. I think that is our main focus with the feature as of now :slight_smile:

I can’t seem to find which keys to press for Yes and No on a vote kick.

@precisePower Either F1 for yes or F2 for no. Hope this helps. It appears on the upper left corner anyway to remind you.

How do you initiate the vote though? Is it a console command?

press F5 or you can go into the scoreboard and right click on the players name in order to start a vote kick.

There is, just type callvote and it’ll come up under the suggested commands.

There’s 3 ways to kick someone though, command, scoreboard click or F5.
