Vote kicking needs to be fixed

It’s ridiculous that, on a team of 5 players, 4-1 votes fail continuously and then a 3-2 vote passes when someone accidentally votes no because they were changing merc.

I had 7-1 and vote failed on pub. Really!?!

The vote system in any online game is always broken in some way, typically the big mistake is that no developer ever secludes the non-voters and as such the minority that did care to vote are affected. Not seeing the vote isn’t an issue, it’s very visible and lasts a while for even players in the most intense situations to notice it, the problem is the lack of voters overall.

Just a few moments ago, someone wanted to get in a full 6vs6 server. 1 in our team decided that being afk was OK because the rest were just scrubs, so someone initiated a vote kick for being afk. and it went 4-2. He didn’t get booted out, we had to fight handicapped for 6 minutes and lost the match. Someone could have replaced him immediately and contributed the much needed medical support.

Yeah, I’ve seen some weird things happen with the votekick before, even after it was “fixed”, I was in a match with an afker for several minutes, so people tried to kick him/her. The server was only 6v6 and the votes were 5-1… yet it, failed? It was very strange.

Did you read what I wrote? Everyone on the team voted to kick the player and it only passed when the vote was 3-2 after 4-1 failed many times. It’s got nothing to do with people not voting. I’ve never seen a game with voting as broken as what I have experienced in Dirty Bomb.

I did read it, and that is a bizarre bug in the system, I’m just saying most of the time it’s the lack of people voting which causes it.

I’ve never seen a votekick ever ever ever succeed. Never ever ever. Not a single one telling the third frickin sniper to blow it out their Vas, not a single one clearing a player slot from an AFKer, not even griefers. Not even unanimous votes.
