Vote kick hackers

First off, I don’t know if I am REALLY unlucky or if 4chan is doing some stupid hack grief thing, but I ran into 3 different straight up aimbotters 3 different servers in a row. That did not help my anger in the fact that I had already lost 5 games in a row. Thankfully, 2 out of the 3 hackers were kicked, but only at the end so the other team was still FAR ahead of us. People were voting no a lot, I tried to tell them go into spectate and look at this, but I don’t think many people did, I get a lot of people false accuse hackers but these were just lock on head aimbot style, not trying to hide it. This is just a rant I felt like I had to do, I am pretty mad right now, and writing just helps me cool off. Also my point is if you know someone is hacking vote kick them please.

Most of the time people know someone is hacking and still choose not to vote kick for the easy win, it’s a pathetic mentality that people will use every single advantage they can get to win. Some just downright play dumb saying “They’re just good” when they have a very blatant aimbot, but there is nothing we can do to stop this with the current system… which is the system almost every game has.

I believe there should be two methods to vote kick a player.
Option A: Current setup, it still works, just not often.
Option B: Two-tier vote. How this works is for instance if Team A and Team B are in a match and Team B has a hacker they cannot get a majority vote to kick on. Team A can call a vote to kick Team B’s player and IF that vote is unanimous(Or at least a great majority) then a similar vote is sent to Team B where if even a tiny percentage votes yes(Vote No’s will likely be cancelled out) then that player is kicked. This way both teams get to have a say in the matter and if there is maybe one nice person on the other team then the hacker will be kicked.

That’s just how I see it, it could help a lot.

I’ve only seen one out of countless votekicks succeed and that was because he was afk for two objectives. Same with shuffles. Nobody wants to vote yes and I’m not sure why.

There’s always idiots that live on Earth. Just gotta deal wit it sadly.

4 hackers now. New record. I must be the unluckiest guy in the world, tried to get two golds as well and both horrible.

I have reported a few hackers. It’s a pain.

I have also spent some time watching players I assumed were cheating. After watching them for a few minutes I realized that were just really good. If a player is a profession league gamer, chance are he doesn’t need to cheat. He/she likely has some Alianware SLI gaming computer and 144 hz monitor, he is likely getting 300 FPS. One guy I suspected of cheating had 2000 hours of CS:GO.

For cheaters, look for fast motion. There is currently some kind of fast motion cheat. It makes Sparks so fast that you can’t shoot her. Also look for snap-on and lock-on. Does the player’s aim snap to an enemy’s head? Does the aim stay locked-on the enemy? Does the player get head shots in mid air? Do they track players behind walls? This one can be unreliable because his team may have a heartbeat monitor out.

What are the requirements for a vote kick to pass?

I was just in a server where there were five Yes votes, one No vote, and two people who didn’t vote. The vote didn’t pass even though there were a majority of players voting Yes.

It’s needs 51% of the server to vote “yes” in order to go through.

So just hope you have people actually paying attention.

I’m assuming you’re talking about a team shuffle vote where the whole server participates, thus, needing >50% of the server’s current population to pass.

In the instance of a vote kick I was under the assumption that the same rule applies except its >50% of the team members voting Yes. Yesterday’s game had 62.5% votes for Yes (5/8 players) but the vote kick didn’t pass…
