Description
When pressing the bound key for “Voice Say” in the Controls menu, the Voice Say menu appears on the HUD as it normally does even when bound to another key. The problem is that the Voice Say menu is not coded properly in that it does not adjust the text in the HUD to the key that it is bound to. For example, I have my “Voice Say” in the Controls menu bound to “Z”. Instead of the HUD displaying the bound key (“Z” in this case), it displays “V” when referencing to hiding the HUD.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access the Controls menu by pressing “Esc”, then navigate to the bottom right of the screen. Click on the gear icon, signifying the Options menu.
- Once in the Options menu, click on “Controls”.
- In the Controls menu, navigate by scrolling down to where it says “Voice Say”.
- Click on this in order to change the bind. Bind it to any other letter than “V”.
- Close out of the menu and proceed to press the bound button of your choice in order for the V-Say menu to pop up on your HUD.
- Notice how it still refers to the bound key as “V”.

Note: The V-Say menu in the screenshot above is in the top left portion of the screen. This may differ from other users’ V-Say menu location depending on if their configuration has been modified or not.
