[Visual Bug] Weird Colors on Bottom of Screen

Couldn’t find this on google or by searching the forums, so I thought I’d post here.

Here’s a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/44q6Vp4.jpg

As you can see there are random weird color things on the bottom. This occurs either the first time I load into a map and persists in every game thereafter, or sometimes appears randomly in the middle of a game. It doesn’t appear on the menu, only while actually in a game. Once it starts it doesn’t go away until I restart the game. I’d say it probably happens in about 1/6 of my play sessions.

My specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Radeon R9 380
AMD FX-8370E
12GB RAM

This also happened on a different hardware build before I upgraded, which was also running an AMD GPU and CPU.

Hello ~ this seems to be a hardware issue. I would suggest contacting customer support for further assistance.

Most likely is.
What you see on the bottom of your screen are sprites, little bits of graphic imagery that is used all over the game to create the effects you see, like looking into a light.

Usually, when sprites suddenly appear where they shouldn’t appear, it means your graphics card is goofing up. I’ve mostly seen this happen with overheating and overclocking. Reset your overclocking settings if you have them, and/or reinstall your graphics card drivers if that doesn’t help.

If that doesn’t work either and if you’re comfortable with opening up your computer, you should make sure your graphics card is properly seated into your PCI slot.

And if -that- doesn’t work, well, I don’t know what will.

EDIT:
Weird that it also happened on another system, but with your setup I’d bet money on you overclocking it.

Problem seems to be solved. I contacted support, and they just had me clear some config files and such and the bug hasn’t appeared since. After clearing those I had to redo my config, and I turned off some other effects like light shafts. So the problem was either with those files that were deleted or with one of the effects I turned off.

I actually have not changed my clock settings at all on this build. I did overclock the old build though. Normally I would have agreed that it was a graphic card problem, but I haven’t been having any issues at all with other games.
