VIP doesn't spawn

(Meyog) #1

So my server is having a problem where the VIP doesn’t spawn on escort missions, in addition to the random crashing every 10-40 mintues. Here is my config:

si_name "Shazbot Central" // Name of the game server
g_password "" // sets the actual password string

net_serverRemoteConsolePassword "password" // Set the rcon password

// si_adminName ""
// si_email ""
// si_irc ""
// si_motd_1 "Welcome to Shazbot Central"
// si_motd_2 ""
// si_motd_3 ""
// si_motd_4 ""
// si_website ""
// si_serverURL ""

net_serverAllowHijacking "0" // 0=Disable, 1=Enable

si_teamDamage "1" // 0=Off, 1=On
si_maxPlayers "16"
si_minPlayers "0" // Number of players required to start a match
si_spectators "1" // 0=Disable, 1=Enable
si_timelimit "20"
si_teamForceBalance "1" // Force players to join the smaller team
si_disableVoting "0" // Disables votes
si_botDifficulty "2"// Changes bot difficulty
si_readyPercent "10" // Percentage of players that need to ready up to start a match
si_warmupSpawn "1" // Allows players to spawn and play during warm-up period
si_enemyTintEnabled "1" // Enables/disables rim lighting tints on enemies
si_teamVoipEnabled "1"
si_needpass 0
g_warmupDamage "1"

// USE THIS TO EXEC THE GAMEMODE CONFIG
// exec server_objective_oldskool_vs.cfg
// si_rules sdGameRulesObjective
si_rules sdGameRulesStopWatch
si_playMode 2
si_onlineMode 3
si_maxRank 4
bot_enable "0"
si_privateClients "2"
g_privatePassword "password"

// USE THIS TO EXEC THE MAP ROTATION CONFIG
g_mapRotationVote "mp/aquarium, mp/ccity, mp/reactor, mp/refuel, mp/resort, mp/sectow, mp/shipyard, mp/terminal"

// MUST HAVE THIS FOR THE SERVER TO START DO NOT REMOVE
spawnServer mp/shipyard.entities

Not seen that issue before. I wouldn’t count on a server working properly unless you apply a server config, add this at the top of your config if you want a stopwatch server:

exec server_stopwatch_standard_vs.cfg

Even if it doesn’t fix the issue you should always apply a server config at the top of your cfg.

I tried this as well, it still happened.

Same issue as well on my Obj server. Has only happened twice though, both on resort.
