hi, i looked into the etmain folder, and in the video folder, i found “etintro.roq”. well it’s pretty obvious that’s the intro movie, but i want to know how to make an intro movie for the mod. i know how to make movies, and animation, but i want to know how to convert movie files to .roq. thx.

I’m pretty sure there’s an avi-to-roq (or maybe MPEG) converter. It might come with the SDK.

Or you cane try the Quake Video Maker proggy floating around somewhere in the web nebula. This is pretty cool since you can do a “few” effects and join image sequences and AVI’s along with a woopy soundtrack to get something cool

There is something that can decompress .roq files but theres no need too. What you need is something that can save to .roq… not worked on me movie(s) for a bit and I cant even remember what QVM looks like :} but, iirc, it can compress to .roq.
