Video Options do not stay active

The video options Soft Particles and Post Processing Effects don’t stay activated. Every time I go to the options menu they are inactive.

Any ideas why this happens?

You click on Apply, and not Done?

Yes I clicked on “Apply”, forgot to mention it in the start post.
Like I said everything else like texture quality or vsync gets correctly saved.

I also know it’s just a minor problem, but I wanted to mention it here nonetheless.

I have the same problem as well, Soft Particles and Post Processing Effects are becoming unticked when I open the game everytime. They don’t get saved, all other settings get saved well BTW.

Could this be due to the use of a custom autoexec.cfg? I have this problem as well, but never bothered to try and delete the autoexec.cfg.

I didn’t use custom autoexec.cfg file but as I said I have this problem.

I have the same problem, both option do not stay active, tbh, I don’t even know if they are active at all or if they deactivate after restart. No custom autoexec either.

So “soft particles” option is gone after the patch and “PP Effects” finally stay selected.
