oh and splash damage the lag is on single player and multiplayer for alot of ati cards ^.^ /
VERY poor ATI performances - what's the exact status on this matter?
Yep. It’s crazy how much lag a modern game can have with all the new technology…I mean; learn to ****ing optimize and test your games.
This is not just SD’s fault, it’s also ATI’s fault and their opengl support
i wouldnt believe everything thats written on other forums.
thats a pure splash damage fault and, so it seems, a non existent qa department.
or… if youre more the conspiracy fan… i think its john carmacks revenge for the doom3 leak from e3 a couple of years ago. ati leaked the doom3 alpha, if you have forgotten about it.
idk killazz i mean sometimes downgrading works … but other times it doesn’t … like its random
I am also playing on 11.5 without hotfix since the 11.5a makes my cpu go crazy. Medium details, everything turned off. Singleplayer is smooth like butter. Still in free play my performance is just terrible, drops below 10 fps on certain maps sometimes if the action goes on. So what is good performance to you BUDA and which card model you own?
In post 46 I explain how to test drivers (opengl versions) quickly, using only a dll.
That was the propose of my post aside form my specs., but my card is HD5870
Regards.
I have two 4870 in crossfire and only one card works when i play the game… plus the optimization sucks, i can barely get a kill with all the lag in online dedicated servers.
let me recap so SD understands:
- Fix Crossfire for ATI/AMD cards
- Optimize the game for smooth and lag free gameplay online.
If this is not fixed/patched/optimized by next week i am uninstalling this game and calling it DEAD.
I will never pay $50 for another pre-alpha stage game again… on the bright side i learned a lesson.
My specs:
i7-920 o.c. 4.0Ghz
6GB DDR3 o.c. 2000
Two 4870 1gb Crossfire

Status on the matters is that its the weekend and SD has better things to do apparently. They mislead on minimum requirements. Lol at friday patch… lets fix the embarassing server browser fps, ok fixed. Have a nice weekend.
SD needs to fix all ATI/AMD issues ASAP or the game is dead.
I cant even play the game on my 4870 crossfire… its pure lag even though my FPS are always at 70-80 fps… so i think the dedicated server communication with the clients needs to be optimized
Splash Damage!!! get real and fix this crap, it gives your company a terrible reputation.
SD doesnt care. If they did they would be working through the weekend to fix these issues. Rocksteady are the best devs in England atm. Sorry SD you had a shot, but you should take a page out of Rocksteady’s playbook on how to release a working game. Im just mad about fps… Im not mentioning the random crashes and sound cut outs, which our also unacceptable.

I wouldn’t call it a pre-alpha.
its not just ATI
Nvidia as well.
System Specs:
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz
6.0 GB Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
GeForce GTX 460 SLi
Sorry Bro, you work overtime when your product is broken, not fix a server broswer fps and call it a day.
in due time im sure they will fix all… if not most of the issues i think as a commnunity we need to just wait for them to tell us … ok its ready to go but who knows how long that could take -______-
