What do you call a very final compile? What q3map2 switches are you using to achieve best quality?

I do the before last option, (final) BSP -meta, -vis, -light -fast -filter -sample 2 -bounce 8

Well it’s the default final, but some mappers may use more switches with custom values to achieve better results

-filter = blurs the light map
-samples = tries to make it sharper
not much point to having both.
I chop and change depending on the needs of the map, I’v used the below with some quite nice results.
-fast -samples 2 -gamma 2.2 -compensate 2 -dirty -bounce 8…
