Vassili is just a kid from the isle who used to restock grocery store shelfes and lived with his parents wasting way too much time on FPS games. At one point in his life he decided shooting virtual people is not enough (and his parents propably asked for rent or something like that) and became a sniper for real.

His name is just Vassili because, thats what 75% of all sniperfanboys call themself in shooters :wink: .

Vasili or Vasily (Russian: Васи́лий) is a Slavic male given name of Greek origin and corresponds to Basil.

Check the ethymology and see he is really russian. I was really disappointed when I bought him and he started talking in a british accent.

Well you can try to talk with the customer support guy (follow that large button on top that says SUPPORT). But honestly I don’t see why you should get a refund I mean If you had gone to Vassilis ingame profile just once you would have heard him talk.

well i thought the name was taken from the movie enemy at the gates and/or the sniper that movie is based on.
i mean its just nickname of the merc and not the real name.
so not necessarily a russian dude.
