Vassili Changes

Reduced Heartbeat sensor cooldown? Woops. SD should’ve knocked it up a bit, not down.

But reduced scope sway? Slightly increased jumping scope accuracy?

I can’t speak for any experience right now, but can someone say whether or not it made a difference? Seems like a step in the right direction, I think a lot of people missed that part of the patch notes.

“Reduced maximum spread when in the jumping-ironsight state to make things feel more consistent”
“Reduced Sniper Rifle Scope sway by ~10%”

I didnt liek the 10extra hp, i can no logner one lunge kill vassili, man wheres the fun on not one shooting a sniper

Well i still suck at him, but at least I throw out the motion sensor (which now recharges faster). PDP does indeed feel a bit more difficult to use post patch. Didn’t notice the sway. His hp buff should be reverted and the 10 hp instead go to Thunder.

It’s basically a crap way to try and make Vassili more viable after they removed the jump-sniping ability. Vassili is now dumbed down and boring, but still playable. Sad to see.

I feel no difference except not getting 1 hit by a Phantom. If he’s good enough to even hit me. That’s pretty much it.

Oh wait I forgot… The blurred effect when you jump while scoping is interesting.

Actually no… it’s not. It’s pointless and half assed like everything else. The dot in the middle stays sharp for some stupid reason.

even if it would becomes blurry too… There still RNG it doesnt change a thing

Personally, I’d rather the motion sensor have a longer cooldown if it meant no more sway.

(Dawnlazy) #8

To me it would actually make sense to give Vassili even less HP than 100 in exchange for boosting up his combat effectiveness. Like giving him instagibbing back with some sort of cooldown.

(SkaM) #9

personally, i don’t get the cooldown decrease, now i can just instantly spam the hearbeat sensor meaning a certain area will stay exposed as long as i’m alive.

not good

Maybe they adjusted the cooldown to make Vassili an more valuable asset for the team. When a good Red Eye or Vassili joins the fight I am always quite happy with the exposure indicators of enemies ;). It makes up for his removed instagib and jump snipe in teamwork.
