V2 Prefabs anyone?

So I finally pulled out the mapping application a week ago and started from the basics of creating brushes and simple rooms. Now, I’ve been working on a vignette with some V2 prefabs in it. If anyone wants to use them, can help me improve on them, or just wants to take a look, let me know. I’m still working on them, so I haven’t posted the .map file anywhere. Here are a couple of screenies though:


Command bunker and transporter partially erect

Erector/transporter inside hardened shelter (need to add stuff to this building)


Another picture of the erector at 45 degrees. Yeah, I know I need to fix a bunch of stuff on the transporter


Assembly facility. The gears and hook part of the crane is a prefab from Bubba’s Castle

Nice work Ifurita, you beat me to it.
I was starting to create models of V2’s in Maya, I haven’t gotten to the launch vehicals yet.

is there somewhere you can download metal trusters (or what they are called in english) as seen in the pictures above? If I’m not wrong there is for example one thats being constructed, outside the house, as part of the axis command post in the Fuel Dump map…
Can you download them somewhere or does everyone make their own in a more professional 3D program and import them into GtkRadiant?

You can make your own with brushes, but the prefabs section of www.drakir.tk might have what you are looking for.

Those look great…and the best thing is i just started working on a map that i wanted to add a few V2s to … where can i get em and what do i have to do to get em ? lol. (gotta love when someone does something that saves you time and hours) :wink:

Cicero, you create a brush, then texture it w/ the truss (or any alpha texture) from textures/alpha

I’m not trying to be nitpicky, but the closer leg we can see isn’t quite touching the “foot” in a spot or two. And can we get a screenie of the front of that thing?
