It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update on my v2_factory map. The last Alpha test was completed this week. I plan to release a public beta in 10-14 days, but I wanted to tease you all with some new images…
I’ll post a comprehensive description of objectives, etc when I release the beta. But the short summary: I’m not sure how to describe the map. It’s sort of dual objective but not really. A better descritpion is an offensive/defensive switch once the V-2 is bulit. Phase 1: Allies attack the factory to either destroy the V-2 production or delay it while the Axis defend. After 15 minutes of production by each machine (there are 3 machines), Phase 2 begins. Axis now go on offense and Allies are switched to defending. The Axis must deliver the V-2 to safety via rail and the Allies must stop the train. There are 3 ways to win: (1) Axis deliver V-2 to safety - axis victory, (2) Allies prevent delivery (time runs out) - Allies victory, (3) Allies destory all 3 machines – machine must all be down at the same time - Allied ‘early’ victory

I reworked the factory courtyard for loading the V-2 on the train (yes, that is right - I said a train!)


Status of the machines: (green complete, yellow working, off = dead; the red lights tell the completion percentage - one light for 3 minutes of production)
