UPDATED - added treelines texture pack.
ok… this time around ive redone the foliage models, made them 1/2 the
polys of the stock models for the grass ( as used in radar ) but i have also
included 9 other foliage models that use the textures in plants_sd.
there are 12 foliage models of the plain variety, grass… dry grass… green grass, the milkweed… and just tall grass blades…
in addition to those 12, there are 12 of the same that wave, prefixed with a w_
so 24 foliage models total. i have included a test map called foliage_example2.bsp where you can
run around and see just the stock grass like in radar, waving… it uses the
new models i made. i did not put in any other of the 9 foliage models into the
map as they are suited to more of a day time map… but you can play around
and see what models you like/dont like for any map you intend to add foliage to.
again, lower poly than the stock et foliage so it doesnt hurt to add grass if you
thought before it might be to much of an fps impact.

also, the foliage_example3.map included uses alphamod blending for the terrain,
and if your intrested in seeing how its done/layed out… then the map shows
an example of this.

EDIT: im going to consolidate all my models into one thread, not this one
but the next i start for models, but i’ll update this one on new models i
release.
Animated Construction Crates, and some Paper Notice models.
These models are ones i released before, but not for doing constructions,
i have reworked the models somewhat and they can now be used when
you make any constructible that you want crates for. Basicly when an
engineer starts the construction, the tools on the crates will start to work
until the construction is built, or times out ( decayed ). these models
are just for eye candy, they dont do much but are more intresting to watch
than the stock ones. ( for new maps only, they will not replace the stock crates in precompiled maps ).
test map and script, plus readme in the pk3 that should cover it all on how
to use them.

Paper Notice models, these are just misc_models and one is used in the
anim_con_crates.bsp included in the test map above. 6 models total, based
off 2 models… 2 are ase models that you can edit to have your own image
of a notice.

EDIT: Updated, added treelines texture pack1, some textures and shaders
to create distant treelines for the illusion of a vast landscape as in Call Of Duty…
7 textures/shaders total in this pack, sizes of 256x512 and 512x512
2 tiling, one has end textures and 3 stand alone tree textures of dark,med,light trees.



i needed these for a project, but i may make some more and bush textures also for a pack2.
