UPDATE!! Current Progress on Phantom Re-work

As most of you know, the topic of Phantom comes up quite a lot. We often receive questions and suggestions about potential re-works for him and when they’re going to happen. With this in mind, and in the interest of transparency, we would like to share with you a short clip taken from our latest dev build of Dirty Bomb to give you an insight of one of the changes we are currently considering.

Still not viable, needs to emit an EMP pulse every swing too, which disables all active stations, abilities (for 10 seconds, stacking), and jams guns too.

What? No. This aint an april fool.
I’m seriously disappointed how SD keeps breaking a merc in who they invested dozens of hours.

Sarcastic above. I did fall to it when I saw it the first time on the nexon forums. :tongue:

Even though this is an April Fools I would like to point out that there actually are some valid and very fitting abilities that Phantom could use along with his Refractive Cloaking.

Just to mention a few.

  • Being able to throw a decoy grenade.
  • Create a holo-projection of Phantom moving to a designated position (maybe attack an enemy) - cloaked/uncloaked depending on if the skill is active or not.
  • Deploy a trip-wire or other trap that can immobilize an enemy.
  • Have upgraded physical values in regards to movement, jumping and the parkour aspect.
