I really hope there will be a patch before weekend.Another weekend without brink cause they released it early?Plx not. :frowning:

Would like to see it, but i’m not counting on it.

Infact, i’ve pretty much given up on Splashdamage now, Brink was an awesome game and it could of put them on the map as a top FPS developer but they screwed it up.

Exactly! All the talk of not needing betas and making a solid multiplayer game went down the drain when they actually released the beta version of the game for us to buy! :eek:

Yeah thats really the sad thing.

They could have THE n1 SHOOTER now but what we have is a unfinished,untested piece of garbage which is not even working. :frowning:

One thing i learned from this.Never again will i buy a game on the release day,especially no SD/Bethsda game,thats for sure.

Pissed of costumer is pissed off.

It is sad to say that Brink turned out to be the first disappointment of the year after being hyped up for so many years! I really didn’t think it could turn out so badly on all platforms :frowning:

Brink is my second big disappointment this year, after Homefront (referring to PC versions).
I sincerely hope Duke Nukem and SSF4 Arcade Edition are not the third and fourth flop of the year.

Just so people know, yes you too Splash Damage. I don’t hate Brink. I am sad, I keep seeing people who owned Brink, now playing La Noir because of the trade in value, and the lack being able to actually play. This game is dying…

Now after the last patch, and using latest Nvidia Beta drivers, I can say how much I like this game.

Of course it still needs some fixing (text still corrupted, i.e.) and balancing (some weapons, turrets, some spawning places), but guess how the PC reviews could have been if it was launched two weeks later in the current status, with much better performance and no sound problems.

Xbox don’t release patches or updates on Fridays (FACT).

In case there was an issue with said update, they have more manpower through the week than on weekends.

We will either get this Monday to Wednesday next week.

If not we will be waiting even longer.

Sad to say but this game has already dropped in price for the PC to £14.85 at Simplygames.

Give it a few more days and the 360 version will be £20 everywhere… either brand new or 2nd hand.
