Unshakeable perk

Curiosity kicking in. Does this perk only work with grenades and other explosives or does it work with the likes of Arty airstrikes as well? I know Guardian Angel works only for air strikes and gives you an audio warning so they do have different purposes but yeah, just curious. I always just assumed one was for airstrikes and the other was for explosives. @Amerika perhaps you know?

Unshakeable works against all explosives, including airstrikes. Good luck testing it though :stuck_out_tongue: I don’t think there is a control result besides death. Everything else has too big a variable on distance from epicenter.

I didn’t want to test it really I was just curious, because my two favourite bushwhacker cards I use on different maps - one has guardian angel and the other has unshakeable but I only use the guardian angel one on Chapel because I thought unshakeable didn’t work against air strikes.

But it occured to me I always hear airstrikes coming, don’t think I’ve ever really been caught out by one not knowing it was coming any way, so I think I will avoid my guardian angel card from now on.

It’s supposed to work on all explosives in the game. Which should not only include merc abilities but also generator/bomb explosions. However, what it is supposed to work with and what it actually works with could be two different things

So what does this mean for the Vassili P92 @Amerika? I have this card in red swiss gold. It has unshakeable and guardian angel. Does that mean if an Arty airstrikes me cross map I take a collective 40% less damage since both give 20% less or still only 20%?

Someone asked this already and it was answered as they do actually stack.

That’s pretty cool then. I like that card even more now

Imagine Skyhammer with unshakable, guardian angel and fail safe… Running in enemies throws airstrike on himself and surviving it :stuck_out_tongue:

Isn’t fail safe only for their own explosives? Correct me if I am wrong.
