Unplayable Lag - post patch and 'fix'

I thought I would post to state that right now the lag on the xbox 360 is still atrocious. I have been trying to play a game with a friend on the following modes - campaign co-op, campaign versus, challenges co-op - and they have all been unplayable. My character is jumping all over the place and I have absolutely no control. This has been the case no matter who creates the game.

It’s rare I join a community simply to complain, but at the moment the game is completely unplayable. The single player - which does work - is great, and shows potential. But I bought this for the multiplayer [as did most of the users I would assume], so please sort it out.

This is post ‘launch day patch’ and post ‘4v4’ temporary/permanent fix. This was with 2 players in the game - it leads me to conclude that reducing players is having no effect on people suffering lag. I assume therefore that its the coding itself - although I am no expert. Any tips on helping with the lag would be appreciated, but i’m not sure there are any!
