First I want to say that I think Brink has the potential to be an amazing game even without big changes to classes and more weapons or whatever other people are asking for. That would be an added bonus but I cant even play it online. Granted I am a PS3 user and I know PSN has been down so you guys haven’t been able to get a performance patch ready and fix this problem, but it is a huge problem for me.
I purchased your game on the premise that it is an online game. You seem to have designed your game to be an online competitive game, seeing as how there is no singleplayer campaign to really speak off. That I do not have a problem with. But the fact is that I played 60 dollars for an online game that has so many performance issues that I cannot play it as intended. I feel that if this isn’t fixed quickly that Brink will lose a lot of people who otherwise might have stuck around and made this a huge community of gamers, myself included.
I normally don’t even take the time and effort to create accounts and post on developer forums, but I was really looking forward to this game and the fact that the main point that Splash Damage marketed this game on was Online gameplay and as it stands right now that is not the case. If its not fixed I will be returning my game and I will ask of Splash Damage/Bethesda or whomever for my full 60 dollars back because I feel extremely misled and disappointed right now.
Hopefully you guys can fix the this swiftly and I can enjoy your game and buy all your dlc and all that good nonsense cause I really do think this game has the potential to open some COD-glazed over eyes and create a more teamfriendly community.
