Unique Customizarion

So, I love the DB gun mechanics and just the game in general. But I think there’s a lack of customization, I think it would be amazing if there were more tools we could use to give each mercy a little more “umph” such as custom clothing (different jackets, bullet vest, though the lookout card skins would be the same) different hats, maybe even masks, glasses, bandanas, etc. Now I know this adds more RNG into the game, because making these free would made SD’s budget plummet. I think simple things like a jacket change, change in boots, and pants, would be as easy to get as loadout cards. But more things like masks and hats would be as rare as special edition cards. I only request this because I’d like to see more customization, and in game, it’s not like you’ll see an enemy and be amazed because he has a Christmas special edition. That only happens with the founders cards. I’d just want to see more for veterans, because I’ve played this game ever since it came out of closed beta, and have nothing to show besides a few event cards anyone could’ve gotten.

Another idea I had was for trading, I think a good trading currency could be cases, yes I know we have credits, but cases are much more unpredictable and would make trading more eventful, and also making loadout cards a part of our steam inventory.

This was just an idea I had, it sounds a bit stupid bit feel free to build on it, revise it, etc.

Hey bud, inb4. You brought up points that have been discussef here many times. And yeah you are right about spliting actual loadouts from skins or card trading…

Only if you dont rape christmas when everyone has santaclaus uniform in middle of summer. I would prefer tactical wear and keep loadouts the main thing. Only slight chances like hats/helmets, glasses, insignia, holster design, layered combat west and stuff like that. There could be different scopes, silencer, muzzle, cylinder, hammer and trigger for guns.

I’d rather this game not turn into a hat fashion show with a game as a secondary like TF2 or skins in CS:GO.
Sure loadout cards are already kind of like that, but the last thing we need is more.

What I like about DB, is that every merc is pretty much the same, with the exception of a few obsidians. The only variations you see are colour, which makes DB a lot easier to get the hang of.

“Oh, that merc has a big pointy bulge on their back? That must be a nader, I better not walk over to their corpse”
However, adding cosmetics that alter the merc’s mesh can lead to mercs being less obvious to identify. No, it’s not an issue to veteran players who are sued to everything, but to new players, it could make things harder to get a grasp on.

for the kind of customization you want, try a different Splash Damage created game “Brink” now available free on Steam
