Unintentional/Automatic strafing PLEASE HELP

So, in Dirty Bomb, whenever i join a game, my character strafes left without me pressing left… even when i re-bind the key, it still does it. and its not my keyboard because this doesnt happen in other games… Only in Dirty… Please help?

That’s pretty crazy. I would backup your ShooterInput.ini file by removing it from the Config directory with DB turned off. When you turn DB back on it should recreate that file. It might be a setting in there. You could also just rename your Config directory and all .ini files will be recreated including the Config directory.

Should also check if your ShooterInput.ini isn’t set to read only, else changes you make ingame aren’t saved.

do you have a controller/joystick plugged in ?
if so try unplug it

@Nail I totally forgot about that. I’d wager that is his problem.

This occasionally happens to me, sometimes when I’ve just alt-tabbed, but not always. I’ve got a controller plugged in too, though never thought of the correlation - makes sense!

Alt tab happens to me sometimes with no controller. Generally when I accidentally tab out while holding a movement key.

This happens to me if Im forced to tab out of the game.
