Undocumented common textures

In the Textures/common/… Directory there are some textures that aren’t mentioned in the documentation, I was curious what they are all about…?

ai_nopass and ai_nosight are (my guess) bot leftovers
But what about nodraw water and leakoil, leaksteam, leakwater ? When or were would you apply these textures?

I also notice caulk and caulk_terrain, what is the difference between these two?

And what is the difference between terrain_snow and lmterrain_snow ?

nodrawwater is is for the sides of your water brushes, especially important if you have to make a water area out of more than one brush.

So I guess you apply it where the brushes connect eachother… nice

I also found out in another post that there’s no difference between caulk and caulk_terrain.
I’m now guessing that if you apply leakoil, leaksteam, leakwater on a brush and shoot it ingame it will leak oil,steam or water…

So what’s the difference between terrain_snow and lmterrain_snow ?

Alot of these textures are left over from the development process and several different mappers and standards. That is why we included a section in the manual about which are useful and which aren’t.
