Short explanation what happened :

Bunch of ASIA/KOREAN players were in Asia DBN server to practice Ranked game, but the server was bugged that the game wouldn’t start.

(there was more than 10 people, but server counted it as 9 people, so the game never started but stayed in loading phase.)

We were so bored, team killing each other, but then suddenly,

it was I who thought of this idea : let’s penetrate through the gas layer by infinite revives(Sparks’ far range revive) + self revive(Phoenix) so that we can reach Underground 2nd phase without completing the objective.

p.s. Beware of me and others speaking Korean.

What we’ve done was complete time waste, but at least we knew gas does 50dmg/tick.(150DPS)

Thanks to Zuzak for recording this, and all of the other Asia server players who’ve wasted 3 hours for NOTHING.

CAUTION : for those of you who would try to reach 2nd phase through gas layers, NEVER PRESS SPACE BAR TO RESPAWN. Wait for Self Revive or Sparks’ revive beam.

because if you press Space Bar accidentally, it will basically spawn you back to spawn point.

A. You really should lower your mic sensitivity. I had to mute the video to keep my hearing.

B. you. have. the. most. annoying. laugh. i . have. ever. heard.

But otherwise, great video! Your perseverance amazes me.

@Dr_Plantboss @Herr_Hanz @sweetColumn Note that video wasn’t recorded by me. I barely talk or laugh while playing DB, and thus I also rarely speak in that vid.

Only part I’m speaking and laughing in first vid is 3:20, saying ‘this guy keeps failing to climb up over the elevator (because of the gravity that drags your body down)’ in KR. Our next goal was to go backwards since our journey(?) was successful.

@Jostabeere Wow. Those are complete xssholes.

@Eox @The_N00B Check out first vid’s 1:47, where he makes mistake by accidentally pressing Space bar.

The whole pointless goal is to reach 2nd phase basement without respawning but depending on infinite revives, so if you respawn, you have to start all over again unless Sparks squad stays for quick transfer.

Just a bit to add : The reason why Sparks missing their laser is dead bodies are hided by gas layers outside of surface. Aiming revive beam has to be precise.

It was a hard challenge, but climbing backwards is also fun.

radiation dust goes thru clothing, not only breather.

Stoker mask is used by firemen to breathe in an enviorment that is on fire and lacks of oxygen.
