Hello, i liked to get some information about game mechanics and co. I have played a fare share of time, but my own experience can be deceptive. I liked to know other experience or at best facts from the devs.

a) As far as i know all bullet weapons are hitscan weapons, am i right? No flight time, no bullet drop, everything is a laser. Every kind of grenade has a flight time, ofcourse.

b) Are melee weapon short bullets or do they use an arc? I got the feeling, you have some kind of death zone infront of you for ~0.5-1s. I often use the melee attack out of range and run into melee range, while the attack goes on, but maybe the gib animation is just slow.

c) Does this game use server-sided or client-sided hitdetection and on how many ticks does the normal server work? A friend of mine and I had multiple situations, where we were behind cover, but died ~1s back in time right in the open. :frowning: Either the enemy is allowed to hit me on his PC or we have 32tick servers.

Not sure on the exact details, but I know it is client side hit detection.
