Unable to Unzip .pk3

I have WinZip 8.1 but when I try to open pak0.pk3, WinZip just tries to compress it. I also tried WinRar but it won’t work either. Help?

How on earth are you trying to open it then if neither program works? Just right-click the pk3, select Open With then choose winrar. Or open winrar first and browse to the file.

thanks for taking me for an idiot. Anyway, Winzip worked. Appearantly after closing Radiant, stupid windows needs 5 minutes to get rid of that huge swap file it loads while using the program.
