Unable to Re-Deplay in match

I played Proxy defending first objective on Underground. I threw a mine to the main entrance of the C4 area and got killed. The mine was planted but Proxy still had one in in her hand.
When it was time to re-deploy I pressed space but nothing happened. I was able to switch between my three mercs but none of them could be deployed. I had to leave the match… It was the first time I experienced this kind of bug in the game.

only time this happened to me was when internet connection crashed

my connection was fine… I was still able to chat with everyone

I had that, once.
In my case I switched teams to spectator and then back again to my team. Obviously not a solution but a workaround.
