Whenever trying to purchase a new merc, I get “Please wait…” followed by “An unexpected error occurred.” I have sufficient funds on my steam wallet for my merc and have restarted steam, the game and my computer as well as reinstalled both steam and the game but to no effect. I’ve also contacted steam regarding this but am unsure if this is an issue within the game or during the transaction with steam. Also, I’ve taken a look at my transactions on steam and it mentions of transaction attempts failed. Is there anyone that may know of a workaround or a solution to this?

Ah, all I had to do was re-allow steam overlay in-game and that allowed for my purchase to continue and go through. Hope that helps!
