I just purchased phoenix, traded up 4 silver cards in order to get a golden card. I’m unable to use phoenix in a match. I get an error message ‘Invalid loadout options’. Am I the only one experiencing this? Know that I restarting my PC, DB and steam.

The update hasn’t even been completed yet. Just wait. This is the same thing as before with Phantom you can buy the merc but it prevents you from joining a game. You can only play a game without Phoenix for now until update is finished.

Dirty Bomb hasn’t finished undergoing maintenance which includes client and server updating. I’m not even sure how you got logged in to do all of that actually as the whole system should be offline for updating/maintenance. Wait for a while and all will be well

From the maintenance post:
“Matches will be allowed to complete and servers with players still present will be allowed to continue to play on the old version.”
So yeah, it’s not that weird.

I just entered a match and put in phoenix in my squad. I ended up getting a proxy with the weapons of phoenix. I played against fraggers using kek-10 and hochfir. I hope it’s just because of the maintenance. @Amerika I restarted my PC which updated my steam and somehow I could login and simply buy phoenix.

No idea what happened. The patch I downloaded was finished in like 5 seconds so couldn’t have been the real update which is usually 1-2GB. Perhaps it was purely the shop update?

I don’t even have anything to download, and on SteamDb they still show the last update was 1 day ago.

I can log in and buy Phoenix right now also… but I’m resisting the temptation. I don’t really want to make a purchase mid-update!
