Could you restart your computer and try to connect again?
Have you already tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Dirty Bomb? Have you restarted your PC yet?
I think I have this exact same problem.
After most matches I get this message box saying “Refreshing account” and then another one starting as “Unable to connect…”. The only button available in the second window is Exit which forces the game to quit.
EDIT: There also appears two popups at bottom of the screen which both read: “Failed to load squad.” Just mentioning this in case it helps.
I need to restart the game after almost every match which is terribly frustrating particulary when playing with friends as I might lose my spot in the server we played on.
I’ve tried reinstalling the game, restarting my pc, turning off all firewalls and anti-viruses, toggling UPnP on and off, and even manually port-forwarding the ports this game uses. Nothing seems to fix this problem.
Any help or suggestions are more than appreciated.

Got exactly the same problem and a frozen screen when i get shot.

No at least not yet. I made a support ticket 18 days ago with all the details on it. Hope they’ll answer it or fix this sometime soon.
