Hello again,

It a remake of UFC3 and UFC5 map i did after i see the thread of stealth6 about a prefab he did whit M|A|D [Cambo] for team death match system. It was something i have try to do about 2-3 years ago when i make UFC3 and UFC5 but never get it.

Knife Fight 1 on 1 in the UFC Octagon (Deathmatch).
Team whit the Most opponents kill win the match after 15 minutes .

-I also add some news FX buttons can be toogle. (music, smoke and laser)
-Put ramdom teleport in the octogone (3 each side).
-Fix some bug i found in the shader, glass windows and textures.
-Now only 1 player from each team can be in the octagon. Thanks to Zer0Cool for is help whit a specific trigger i needed.
-If a player die, change team in the octagon or in the elevator, they lost a points.
-Like alway, i secret room can be found on this map but you need to go on spectator way.

Axis need to kill the most Allies Players whit Knife in the UFC Octagon to win the match!"

Hello,

It was very boring this week-end because my home NHL team lost in the series vs Flyers Philadelphie. So i start some mapping to kill some time. About 2 weeks ago, the UFC troup as come in Montreal to present the UFC 83, Serra vs St-Pierre 2, in Bell Center and that give me some idea to do something. :stuck_out_tongue:

So, it not a big projet, I just did this for fun and i buid this map in 5 days loll

scenario information

Only using you KNIFE or your NEEDLE seringue to play this map.
Only 2 players (1 on each side) can enter in the Octagon every 30sec.
they have 2 flags in the Octagon. One for each team. Both team need to claimed the oposite flag then old it for 3 minutes to win the game.
32 players (16 per teams) but i think 12 players can be maximum.

AXIS:
-The Axis team need take their flag to START the countdown and holds the flag . when the time is over on the Countdown = Axis Team winner.
-The Axis team need to reclaim the Allied flag to STOP the countdown.

ALLIES:
-The Allied team need to reclaim the Axis flag to STOP the countdown.
-The Allied team need take their flag to START the countdown and holds the flag . when the time is over on the Countdown = Allies Team winner.

Nice!
We play last night whit 8 players and we found something bad. I need to build someting to kill every player in de octagon because, it was hard when it 4 axis vs 1 allies in the octagon waiting for you at teleporter_destination loll. whit a button/trigger_hurt and a wait time (1 min). The best thing to do will be a trigger hurt only kill allies player and another one for axis players only. but i dont think we can do that…

I will work on a simple button/trigger_hurt to kill everyting in the octagon or maybe lets players crouch to survive the trigger_hurt but if somebody have any idea to do a trigger_hurt only kill allies or axis player , im in to learn :smiley:

I not sure if it is possible, but connect a trigger multiple to a target_script (then you can make it allies or axis only)
then in the script it checks who is there and then setstates the trigger_hurt

as I said I am not sure that this is possible but maybe…

I finish this map last night beetween 2 compiles. SO the first post was updated whit news screenshots and downloads link.

I add 2 pk3 files. It the same map but the countdown isnt the same.
UFC3 for 3 minutes countdown.
UFC5 for 5 minutes countdown.

I think it the final version but if you find some bug, you can reply there. Maybe it not the last one loll

cool map though and I’m glad that the prefab is understandable

Thanks for the prefab! It your fault if i remake it :D.
I edit whit a trigger because when a players change team, that costing a point.
Also, if i remember, that cost a point when the game begin (after warmup).

Whit a trigger release, all looking good! :slight_smile:

By the way, i edit this post and change the tittle… It seems that this not change in the main menu.
I should have done a new thread.

I wanted to use them a while ago, but didn’t know how they worked (is it a texture or a model or a remake of a model? )
