Ok, so I want to do a u-boat map and perhaps a campaign

that looks good, in all honesty you don’t look like you need much help.
I’d be willing to help but I am by no means an expert, I can help with smaller things and design/ideas if you need it :). That U-boat is frggin awesome, working on a map with a ship like that would be a priviledge :). Any ideas as to where you’re locating the map? North Africa, northern europe, southern europe?
My trouble is I keep on making my mind and after spending a bit of time on one idea, I quickly change and move on to another :. So I have a myriad of pre-made objects.
the inspiration for the pen came from the u-boat bases at lorient and larochelle. I was especially taken by the idea that they would move these boats on rails (though for the map it’s going to be a bit revisionist). The thought would be that the allies have occupied the pen and called for a bombing run. The germans would have to get into the base, repair a power generator or something, crane the boat onto the railcars, move the boat outside to a turntable (this could be eliminated), and get it into another bunker.
I have another idea floating around where the boat would be the spawn and be moving along a coastline with gun emplacements that would need to be destroyed for the boat to advance.
yeah, prefabs would be useful, (a link to samples would be good)as i’m having trouble lining the walls and making the base look ‘lived in’ specifically i need some sort of rail tug that’s more impressive/powerful than the one in railgun. However anything navy base, general military, etc would be useful.
