Ive played both of these. Vendetta has some errors, but Devils Manor 2 is a mappack with a great atmosphere. Kudos to Yoshik for a job well done! :cool:

I did play through devil’s manor. Overall really impressive and good work. The atmosphere was great and the music was stunning. Was really scary at many points. Nice way of using effects and nice ideas. Some critics :):

*Menu was nice. Did leave a feeling of being a bit bugged tho (cannot remember what tho).

*The sky shader had a typo. And it resulted that the sky was not drawn in any map. Reported a missing bracket }. Was a major ruiner for me.

*A little more ammo could not hurt. Especially first map. I dislike the gameplay decision that requires kicking the AI’s because of having no ammo. It is just slow and boring. After a few deads on the first map I just ran past the big attack of enemies and just ignored them and finished the map, because I had no ammo. Atleast if I had knife it would be more fun if I ran out of ammo. Or then I was just unable to find stuff.

*I really liked the bosses you modified. However the bigger ones were a bit too big to the scenery and I just could see them getting stuck sometimes.

*Especially I liked the witch boss that has electricity. However after killing her the music left me a feeling of it being bugged up (and death event not being executed). So after running for some time I just thought the door opening script did not run and reloaded the game from a save. After I killed her again I found the lever (lol) and realised I was stupid.

*The clips on the trees with that ugly beast boss shooting those ghost were some kinda messed up. The ghosts came right through it. Also it really was not able to navigate with them (stuck all the time). Maybe you should have separate clips for player/AI (really reduced) and bullets (more accurate).

It’s great to hear! I liked the original Vendetta version, but if that one is better, I’ll play-it!

Keep in mind that this version of Vendetta has been out for a long time now, since the year 2013. There’s a good chance that you’ve already played this, and it’s nothing new.
