Because I’m sick of people not knowing how to do the most basic things like revive. It’s not a big deal or an annoyance, it’s not a forced tutorial every time you reinstall, just every time someone plays for the first time on an account, they have to learn how to actually play.
Tutorial needs to be mandatory for all new accounts
Agreed
It is sad to see some people not even realize that they can revive or give out ammo. It can make pubs frustrating.
“Obligatory” tutorial is something to implement for sure. Most of people will just ignore it and roll around totally clueless (an then some will whine that nothing is clear in the UI !). It’s not a big deal anyway : it takes at best 10 minutes of your lifetime just for you to learn the basics.
Full ack. And things like engineering and a who is who of the classes needs to be added.
actually a more comprehensive tutorial is needed… atm the tutorial doesnt really seem to teach much… most lvl1s are still running around like headless chickens in a gas chamber of a slaughter house
Imo, the tutorial available now is quite shallow. Engineers are not shown, objectives except bomb planting are not explained too. Game modes should be quickly explained, as well as wall jumping.
TUTORIAL NEEDS TO SHOW THAT ADS IS USELESS IN MOST OCCASIONS.
Tutorial could also show some maps particularities with random bots wandering around.
Explain how much engineers are important !!!
And the more important, the game should give an incentive for doing it. People won’t do the tutorial even if it’s for their own good if they don’t get rewarded. 5k credits sounds reasonable or some crates.
I’m all for giving rewards to players who finish tutorial.
Forcing people to do anything is generally not something you want to do with a game.

You just have to make it appear that they’re not forced, ease them straight into the tutorial with no other access to game content including menu.

with the 2x exp its pushing people into the “SharkPool servers” when they still run around like headless chickens in a nazi slaughter house… forcing new players to do a revamped comprehensive tutorial which goes through each class and game mode type would at least prevent more experienced players from getting high blood pressure u have no idea how retarded it is in open servers atm even when u tell them what to do where to go they still go “eh whut where??”…

Have been thinking this for some time already…
Put a tutorial in for each one of the basic classes. Give the credit rewards you get during the first 4 levels to the people who complete the basic tutorials. Have each tutorial tell how to use each class effectively while also reinforcing things like how to wall jump, running with knife out, gibbing and how much your score is influenced by using your merc to their potential.
Combine this with Missions that have small tutorials on best practices on how to complete them. Short videos would be all that is needed. Educating people by using a reward system is definitely better than the limited and somewhat optional system that is in the game IMO.
