Trinket hunt requirements

So, its supposedly 3+12+45.
Altho 60 hours for just 3 weeks seems a bit pushing it, it would be doable with some effort. Would be… !
Problem is that with all the bugs, disconnects, security violations, "only game time counts’ and God knows what else, real requirements would probably be more in the range of 100+ hours. Thats a lot, far more that can be considered reasonable. Playing for 3 hours per day for an average player is alredy 2 much, but pushing it to 5 will dump id say around 70% of community(and thats rather generous estimate) overboard.
Since beginning of the event i logged about 22 hours in the game, yet my progression with this particular event is about 12 hours. meaning basically 45% of time i spent on game is irrelevant on this point.
I understand that its just a test run, but it would be nice if devs, next time, would account for various contingencies and have more realistic and, most importantly, balanced timetable for players.
Sure, things like that are for dedicated players, bla bla bla bla, but making such crazy requirements are not for dedicated(playing every day for an hour is dedication), but for obsessed and generally it doesnt end well(for any1 involved).

I have to agree with this, DB with all it’s disconnection bugs and unexpected errors makes this an almost impossible job to do. Add to that that most a big chuck of time goes none playing between matches and looking for other servers cause most servers empty after every match.

I got the lantern and that is about it for me. The trinket is so tiny I don’t even see it without my glasses.

I just don’t understand the ridiculous amount of time they want players to put in to complete the event. It should be something that is fun and achievable by players who already play a good amount. I play pretty often but I will not come even remotely close to getting the last trinket.

It’s like how the elite cases are all priced for whales and the system in general targets gamblers. This is an event that is targeting the obsessive pokemon collectors and not the normal audience. It’s as if everything has to be an extreme and target some tiny part of the player base as opposed to being something that everyone can have fun with and have a reasonable chance of completing.

Then you throw in all the issues that comes with the unrealistic time expectations with people afk’ing constantly and you get everyone upset over something that shouldn’t make people upset.

I’m already a fifth into the Snowman. That thing should be rare and if I would be SD, I would release more stuff that only a small part of the community will be grinding for.

I think they should first solve connection and error issues that limit playtime first before making an event like this.
