Trinket Hunt Compensation

During the “What the Dickens” update, some players did not receive all of the Trinkets that they had earned through the Trinket Hunt Event. We regret that everyone’s excitement was hampered by this error, and are now making it right.

Over the next two days, everyone that qualified for the Coal, Lantern or Warm Snowman Trinkets will receive their missing Trinkets. We’ll also be giving everyone that missed out on their trinkets a gift as an apology for the delay:

  • Coal Trinket: 1x Expert Case A
  • Lantern Trinket: 1x Expert Case B, 1x Expert Case C
  • Warm Snowman Trinket: 1x Expert Case A, 1x Expert Case B, 1x Expert Case C
  • Those that did not get their Trinkets will receive all of them, including the noted compensation gifts.

If you believe that you qualified for Trinkets that you did not receive, please allow us time to complete the compensation transactions. If you still have not received the Trinkets after a few days, please submit a ticket to Customer Support.

The cases were a nice touch and thank god I didnt get my lantern because I was 3 hours(ish) off my snowman :slight_smile:

EDIT : I forgot to say I think I got to many cases (I was missing the lantern):

thanks… I was wondering if this was going to be ignored until I logged in today and saw I had “6 items” thinking “I thought I opened all my cases last night”.

Why do I feel cheated for having everything work fine?

Somethings not right in this compensation model. Why not just a flat “we are sorry, have some crates and feel fine everyone”- Event?

Well… thank god the thing didn’t bug on me… it’s not like I don’t care about trinkets at all and I would much rather get dem cases or anything~

I really like this compensation, and I don’t feel cheated at all.
They were promised rewards after playing, they did not get it, so they got something in return.

@ElectricHarpoon why are you disagreeing with like, almost everything?
