Trigger_Multiple + target_script_trigger

(sQynor) #1

Ok, here’s my problem. i know that with trigger multiple you can activate things with target_script_trigger and scripting stuff…

If you do it manually in gtk… you let it activate, nad go back to default if you move out…

Like a door or something.

Now my problem is, i want to make a timer attack for a TJ map. and i placed a trigger_multiple in there. but if a player dies… it has to reset the arena.

But how can you put in a script when trigger_multiple isn’t triggered? ( or when someone moves out of it )

you know what i mean?
help please.

make a loo[ to check if he is still there everysecond, if he isnt reset… no?

How do i let it reset? that’s the question. i know i can trigger it when someone goes in. but i need to know. if i can script the part where someone leaves. and the trigger_multiple has to tell me.

Triggering is easy.

But the part to let it trigger again when there’s no one… that’s my question

what do you mean by reset? the timer stops everybody dies a teleporter is triggered??

Here what i already got.

little square room for 1 person. person presses button. safety door closes so no one else can join.
then it moves down. then u get out… Trigger_multiple is trigger… game know’s you are there.

Now if you die… how can i make it so the game thinks : " no one’s here"

so that when that happens the arena resets.

hmm I dont think you can do that but I might have thought of a solution
when you die you go back to start and there is also a triggermultiple, when that 1 is triggered it says is teh other room empty? yes no, if yes then reset otherwise dont

a accum is set to 1… a timer activating its triggers after a bit more than the same time the multiple does sets it to 0
=> it is 1 if you are inside, 0 if you are outside
e.g. multiple: key: wait 1 seconds
timer: key: wait 1.1 seconds (dont know if it really has to be greater than the multiples wait key
but this way it is sure that it will stay 0.1 seconds with value 1)
now you need another timer which checks repeatedly (the wait key can be setz to what you want) if the accum is 0 or 1
